Description
The EMX 86 CAM shotgun microphone should be your first choice for recordings in difficult acoustic environments, for example video purposes where ambient noise needs to be minimised.
The EMX 86 CAM is extremely lightweight and rugged and is ideal for mounting onto cameras or camcorders for outdoor or indoor use. The electrostatic transducer element and the hypercardioid/ lobe polar pattern result in excellent audio results and, due to its construction and integrated active filter, the EMX 86 CAM is insensitive towards wind noise and vibrations caused by zoom motors.
The synthetic anti-reflective surface finish effectively absorbs handling noise, whilst the supplied elastic mounting allows fitting directly onto a camera flash
socket. For maximum flexibility the bottom side of the camera mount also features a 3/8” socket for tripods or booms and a photo adapter thread.
