MX Series Subwoofer
Wharfedale’s MX Series passive subwoofers are ideal for adding massive low end to the MX Series two-way loudspeakers – or any existing sound system in need of extended low frequency response.
All MX Series subwoofers feature proprietary 18” Wharfedale Pro Drivers and 13ply birch construction. With convenient carry handles and pole mount sockets, rugged design and durability; MX Series subwoofers can survive the punishment of professional installation as well as life on the road.
MX-218B Horn-Loaded Subwoofer
The MX-218B is designed to work with an external, active crossover unit. For demanding, high output applications, it is recommended that each MX-218B be powered with a dedicated, high powered amplifier channel or an amp in bridged-mono mode.
Where significant extension of low frequency output of a sound system is required, the addition of one or more MX-218B subwoofers will provide high output, low frequency enhancement to the overall system.
