Product Description

Details

The Audio Technica 4047SV was designed to bring back the warmth reminiscent of 60s and 70s recordings. To accurately create this sound the microphone is centred on a genuine DC biased dual gold diaphragm capsule feeding an FET front end pre-amplifier. The large capsules are specially tuned to reproduce the sounds reminiscent of that era. They are also aged through a five stage process to ensure they remain within spec for years to come. A 10 dB pad increases the maximum SPL to 159 dB. A switched bass roll-off at 12dB/octave operates below 80 Hz. The A weighted microphone noise is only 9dB SPL. The response is substantially flat between 20 Hz and 18 kHz. Vintage silver matte finish. Phantom powered 44V - 52V. Price includes an AT8449/SV shock mount (threaded for a 5/8inch 27TPI mic stand)
